Wish I had more insight into the specific differences but I’ve been mostly on the video side of production for the last 27 years and only in the last couple years have I been working on my own music and trying to get back into audio production work. That is probably the biggest speed boost to editing work I’ve found so far. I do like how the takes are in a stack instead of a text list and can be edited to make a composite clip of the best parts of each take.

I can’t think of anything specific that feels wrong, just a little different. Maybe the only thing I miss is the audio region editing being a smoother process but I think that’s just me being used to editing in PT. It shall be downloadable from the link below (click the link, then click 'download').

However, I didnt find a drum map, so i spent the minutes it takes and made one myself. Good enough for me to donate a few EURos.
FREE MT POWER DRUM KIT 2 MOVIE
It might be a funny scene, movie quote, animation, meme or a mashup of multiple sources. Anyway, i did fairly recently find the MT Power Drum Kit 2 (free) VST instrument which seems pretty nice so far. or rather, anything that isn’t a Digidesign or Avid interface is not all that great, which was one of the main bitches people had with Digidesign in the first place – being locked into their hardware. You can take any video, trim the best part, combine with other videos, add soundtrack. It’s not necessarily a point against PT, but in PT you have to use the HUI protocol and my understanding is that the HUI support in PT has always been a bit lacking. Still trying to get used to it but anyone who has used one should be right at home behind that control surface.
FREE MT POWER DRUM KIT 2 MANUAL
It’s extremely well supported in Logic Pro X and the manual for control surfaces in Logic is basically the missing manual for the Behringer. I bought a Behringer Xtouch and it’s basically a cheaper clone of the Mackie MCU, down to the button layout. Logic Pro X seems easier to me for that kind of work. We provide unique high quality drum kits and presets in many modern genres. The other thing is, I’m primarily a rock/metal musician, so most of my recording work is geared around recording instruments, and also doing voiceover work and audio for video (commercials). The Highest Producers is a top notch resource website dedicated to innovative music producers and beatmakers. There’s nothing I’ve run into that couldn’t be done with Logic, and MIDI is so much nicer to work with as far as writing and composing in Logic. I started using it around version 6 and stopped upgrading at version 10, I really can’t think of anything I miss from it.

Honestly, I was never a super heavy user of PT, but I learned digital recording on it after transitioning from analog.
